Find your Machine ID
Checkout needs this before it can cut a key. It lives on the activation card inside the app and takes about ten seconds to get.
- 1
Open Kurm Optimizer
On the computer you want to license — not a different one. The ID is specific to that machine's hardware.
- 2
Find the activation card
On a machine with no key, it appears automatically when the app starts. If yours is already activated, press Upgrade key in the top bar to bring the same card back.
- 3
Copy the Machine ID
The card shows a 16-character Machine ID with a Copy button beside it. Press Copy, then paste it at checkout.
What a valid ID looks like
Exactly 16 characters, using digits and the letters A to F — it is a hexadecimal hash, so no G, no O, no punctuation. Spaces and dashes are ignored if you paste them, and lowercase is accepted.

If what you have is longer, shorter, or contains other letters, it is not a Machine ID — check you copied from the activation card and not from somewhere else in the app.
Get it right before you pay
The key is generated from this ID. A typo produces a key that looks perfectly valid and activates nothing. Checkout shows you the ID it read back before you confirm — check that it matches the app.
