Installing it

    Extract the whole folder

    Somewhere permanent — not inside the zip preview window, and not a Downloads folder you clear out. The .exe needs the .dll files beside it and will not start on its own.

    Run KurmOptimizer.exe

    Windows asks for administrator permission. It is genuinely required — reading hardware sensors and changing system settings do not work without it.

    Sign in

    Sign in with the same free account you downloaded with. A plan you buy goes on that account.

SmartScreen will warn you

The download is not code-signed yet, so Windows shows “Windows protected your PC” the first time you run it. Choose More info, then Run anyway. Verify the checksum below first if you want to be certain the file is the one we published.
