What happens if I change my hardware?
A new motherboard or CPU changes your Machine ID and the old key stops validating. Send us your order reference and we re-issue for the new ID free for the rest of an unexpired licence.
Does the licence check need internet?
No. The key is verified by re-deriving it from your Machine ID locally. The desktop app never contacts us to validate.
Can I move a key to another PC?
No. The Machine ID is an input to the key's own mathematics, so a key cannot be made to work elsewhere — by you or by us.
